Services
Perpetual Care
At Forest Hill, we offer a variety of interment options, including casket, urn and green burials. We have abundant lots available for now and far into the future for both casketed and cremated remains. As a non-profit organization overseen by a volunteer board of directors, Forest Hill is owned by our lot holders. Our staff work hard to maintain high standards of care on our grounds and to provide helpful and respectful service.
Interment
Forest Hill provides both casket and urn sized lots. Casket lots can accommodate one casket or up to six urns. We have urn gardens which have smaller urn sized lots that can contain up to two urns.
There has been recent interest in a family columbarium as an option for retaining urns. These are larger structures and require a minimum of two casket lots. The cemetery has identified a location of a public columbarium; however, does not currently have sufficient demand to warrant the investment in this option.

Columbarium
We are pleased to announce that the Forest Hill Cemetery Company has installed a 48-niche columbarium in the lower portion of our cemetery. This columbarium is constructed of mountain rose granite with black niche doors. Each niche is 12” x 12” x 14” and can accommodate two standard size urns.
For further information, please contact the Forest Hill Cemetery Administration Office.
Green Burials
Under Green Burial Council Standards, Forest Hill is classified as a hybrid cemetery. This means that as an established cemetery we offer both traditional and green burials. Green burials have become an increasingly popular option for environmentally conscious people. We are knowledgeable about green burial standards. We will work with families and funeral homes to respect green burial practices and standards to help protect our environment.

Vault Storage
During the winter months, frozen ground prevents interments. In cooperation with local funeral homes, Forest Hill Cemetery maintains a secure vault for families to safeguard remains until interment is possible in the spring or early summer.

Records Management
Part of preserving history is maintaining good records. At Forest Hill, we have conducted extensive research into the people interred here, compiling a large collection of documents, including obituaries and newspaper clippings. We welcome inquiries into persons interred in the cemetery and will provide records as requested.
